What personal data we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have.
Who we are
Metacamp (“we”, “us”) is a practical AI academy in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect through metacamp.sg, how we use it and the choices you have, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). For any question or request about your data, write to hello@metacamp.sg — this mailbox also reaches the person responsible for data protection at Metacamp.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry — through the contact form or by email — we collect your name, email address, what you tell us about your goals and, if you share it, your contact number. Team-training enquiries also ask for your company name, job title and team size.
- When you sign up for the AI Weekly Roundup, we collect your email address and a record of your consent.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to serve and secure the site. This site does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and point you towards the most useful course or programme.
- To administer enrolment conversations and course logistics once you choose a course.
- To send you the weekly roundup you asked for.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Consent
We collect and use personal data with your consent: you choose what to share in an enquiry, and the roundup is sent only after you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time — every roundup email includes an unsubscribe option, or write to hello@metacamp.sg and we will remove you.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the site and our communications, such as website hosting and email delivery, and only for those purposes. We may disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell it.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. The roundup list keeps your email address until you unsubscribe; enquiry correspondence is kept while the conversation stays relevant.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use. Write to hello@metacamp.sg and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date.
